I meet the requirements for CRPO qualifiers and students. Over the years I have supervised therapists, addictions counsellors and social workers in the areas of mental health, addiction and trauma-informed practice. I was the first person to facilitate a mental health diploma program in Nunavut, a program that trained community members in counselling, crisis intervention, addictions and trauma informed practice. I learned much about cultural safety and cultural integration of services during my time in both Northwest Territories in Nunavut. Today I am a consultant and educator to counsellors and agencies in Aboriginal communities.
