Why give?

    There are currently those who do not have access to helping and healing services. We provide free services to those who cannot afford to pay for mental healthcare.

    Folks with complexity are being unhelped or even sometimes harmed by our current mental healthcare system. We aim to provide safer spaces for helping and healing.

    There is a lack of neurodivergence affirming and gender affirming care. We aim to provide education and training to those who want to know how to be a safer helper and healer.

    You have been blessed with an exorbitant amount of money and you don’t know what to do with it. Please know that we are a not for profit social enterprise and we will make good use of your good fortune.

    We are survivors of these systems. As wounded healers we have made a commitment to do our own healing work.

  • Our project was launched and inspired by the lived and professional experience of the founder Pauline O’Brien. Over her 20+ career as a helper and consumer of psychiatric and psychotherapy services she has developed a keen appreciation for the impact of the system itself on one’s mental health. Pauline is a fierce advocate for safer spaces as a queer neurodivergent therapist and psychiatric survivor.

  • We are a not for profit social enterprise. Our aim is to turnover any profits from sales and services back towards the access program. As of today we are not (yet) a charitable organization. Stay tuned!
